This little note was pasted to the inside of the door in the 1965 Coke machine my dad got from his old company. Thought someone else might like to read it. I can post pics of the machine itself later if anybody is into old stuff.

That’s awesome, I love old time capsule like things.

Even though I had to turn my head sideways to read it thanks to Kinja!

Is it a chest-type or an upright?

Fancy. We have an old chest one in the garage from my great-grandmother’s drive-in restaurant. I think it’s from the 40’s or 50’s.

Neat. I've never even used a vending machine like that.

It was more or less based on the honor system. Really, it was less vending machine and more of a branded chest cooler.

Oh weird, I didn't know that. In ours you reach into the fridge, but the bottle have to come out of a locking collar that only allows one bottle.
